Blueberry Pie in a Sunny Garden

My good friend and I were down in Kentucky picking out our new Bernina sewing machines. I noticed blueberry fabric and bought some because another friend LOVES blueberries. It is in a complimentary color scheme of purple and yellow, with the foreground on the purple and the background the diagonal yellow strips. The eye is carried by the line of the darker yellow against the lighter and gives the impression all of that yellow is “behind” the purple which was what I wanted. Giving space and depth within the quilt design is important to me.
