Where is the Water in the Desert?

Here is the next piece with “Jamie” crowns. The color combination gave me the visual feel of the southwest. No matter the season, there is usually warm sun, blue sky, but where is the water? All the silvery grey triangles around the edge of the quilt could represent the mountains to cross to find water. The edge is cut with with waves. There is water, but it is far away, much like it truly is on the reservations of New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado.
